Some Key Points from the Evening,,,

Exhibitions: Layout and stand management is extremely important. Think imaginatively to maximize results; this will include selling techniques, personal presentation, inviting people along and attracting visitors.

Look busy! If you hire interns, make sure they are engaged and knowledgeable of your designs. Budget!! Call someone to help you think cost effective ways to make your stand look good.

Shows/Presentations: A presentation is a different way of showing off your designs. Be creative, but when in doubt, go simple! Always remember that it is about your clothes, don’t get lost in the art. It’s the rise of the fashion film, but make sure you understand its difficulty.

Models: Know what you’re looking for, and most importantly, treat them with respect! They work hard, and some may be young or new to the business. Lets try to change fashion’s reputation. Finally, be aware of model health and its implications on the industry today.
